Like the New Heaven and New Earth, the bible does not tell us much about what the new man will be. The new man is the resurrected believer. God says that “we know that when He appears we shall be like Him” 1 John 3:2. Also, we’re told, God has “predestined (believers) to be conformed to the image of his Son” Romans 8:29; not into the image of our parents, regardless of who they are. When we were born again, we were born from above and now “call God Father” we belong to Him Romans 8:15.
No Marriage for the New Man
When Jesus was asked about marriage in the resurrection, Jesus responded, saying:
We will be like angels and without memory of this life, “the former things will not be remembered or come to mind” Isaiah 65:17. The new man in the new earth will have entirely different relationships with one another. God will be the center of all relationships, the “new man and angels will serve Him” Revelations 22:3. There will be no more crying, nor death, nor sorrow or pain Revelations 21:4.
Angels are spirits created to serve God’s will Hebrews 1:7. The new man will be spiritual beings in an eternal body that will be similar to Jesus when He returns. The Spirit will control the new man; unlike now where the believers’ spirit and flesh are enemies at war Romans 8:7.

Conforming Believers Character to be like Jesus’
Presently, God is conforming believers to the image of His Son; as we submit and go through the spiritual regeneration by renewing our minds with the words of life Romans 8:29. If you want to be like Jesus, consider that Jesus always submitted to and obeyed God the Father. We are called to “be holy in everything we do as Christ was holy and obedient in all He did” 1 Peter 1:15-16. The new man will be like Jesus and angels, completely obedient to God in all we say and do.
–Jesus only does what God has shown Him:
John 5:19 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.
–Jesus only says what God has told Him to say:
John 12:49 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself commanded me—what to say and what to speak.
The New Man of God
Collectively, the new man are members making up the body of Christ with Jesus as the Head of the body. The Father and the Son will make the new earth their home. “The dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people. God Himself will be with them as their God” Revelations 21:3. With the Father and Son abiding on earth with the new man; the governing administration of all creation will be centered here.
The most important relationship angels and Jesus have is with God the Father and God is in charge. God intended, from the beginning, for man to have that same relationship with Him. The fall in the garden prevented that. We will be One again!
